Review - Stargate Atlantis Season 5 on DVD

Season Five of Stargate Atlantis includes a major story arc that began in Stargate SG1. The idea that the lost city of Atlantis, a story that has triggered the imagination of mankind for centuries, actually a town-ship and in another galaxy, there is a big one. The Greek philosopher Plato introduced and clad narrator of the story a fantastic island-city half-god/half-human citizens. Would it were true.

Last season began with the discovery and Atlantisresulted in bringing the ship's island home to Earth. It is one of the wonderful things about science fiction, the present as much fun - what could be. Atlantis is probably real ... it could be found somewhere in the universe. Humanity would have sown by being more developed. I like that the ancients were not perfect. The character of Daniel Jackson in Stargate SG1 had more interaction with them than most others and the authors of the exhibition, we want to see that even "superior" beingshave errors. Because certainly I know, are not errors in the real world perfectly ... ... and who they want to be?

Fifth Season also had a permanent change of command at the Atlantis control room. The character of Richard Woolsey appeared as a ladder. Robert Picardo, Woolsey being played, is a gifted and versatile actor. I loved his character portrayal of the Doctor on "Star Trek: Voyager". An actor playing a hologram, how to become a "real". A challenge met Picardowell.

When he first time in Stargate SG1 as International Oversight Committee rep Richard Woolsey, I was not like that character. Woolsey was a man of rules and regulations, and there were times when you were not sure he was a good guy or a bad guy. But time seemed to Woolsey in the fifth season of Stargate Atlantis, was known, appeared on which side of his bread the butter. He was not just a good guy, he turned out to be a good leader. Of course, everyone knows theStargate Atlantis and Stargate SG1 hardly needs an in-depth profile of this character.

The character of Captain James T. Kirk in the film industry, "Star Trek: The Final Frontier", a great line about flawed nature, he says, when invited to respond in order to have taken his pain with, "... Damn it, Bones, you're a doctor. You know that pain and guilt do not take off with a wave of a wand. These are the things we carry with us the things that make us who we are. If we losethem, we lose ourselves. I will not take my pain! I need my pain !..."

Of course, Stargate Atlantis Season Five wraps the shortcomings of the Wraith and Michael - the Wraith that would be --human and replicators [arc is another story, by about Stargate SG1]. We come to see how the character Tayla treated as a warrior-mother, and we receive a notice that the character of Ronan could finally find romance. All said and done everything, it is a satisfactory season.

So many goodSign, as a good season, it was a shame for you to see it pass. This is a fan who is unfortunately seen, concluded, but now look forward to the next spin-off show: Stargate Universe.

Confessions of a Curehead, Part Six

1982 The single "Let's Go To Bed, which had been the exact opposite of what the Cure, was surprisingly (or perhaps not so surprisingly) it was a minor hit, despite the fact that Smith had publicly mocked and ridiculed the song. Despite the relative success, Smith seemed more disinterested, The Cure or abandoning, at least leave the task of Tolhurst was the only other member of the Banshees and then join. However, in July 1983, The> Cure apparently not letting released another single, "The Walk, which broke the Top Twenty in October of that year and then repeated the trick with the classic Love Cats to a British Top Ten. All of these singles and their B-sides were collected at the end of compilation album Japanese Whispers.

Fans were confused, Smith received countless amounts of hate mail against the continuation of The Cure's 'madness', which he collected against so ridiculous. It was his band, what he could do what he wanted and he did appear, both with The Cure and The Banshees on the Christmas edition of Top of the Pops, seems really crazy driving his followers was that the intended effect? They felt guilty a little more, after all that they followed him into hell with pornography, he was simply there to have them there? He continued his artistic schizoid hikes, which deals with albums for both bands early 1984. Proof in the pudding, that was the cureRobert Smith, was the fact that he played all the instruments except drums and saxophone on the resulting album The Top (1984).

Poker Movies - The Sting

I remember now to The Sting, as I do not deal in poker. In fact, I think if I saw it (because my father had a video and wanted to see him, so everyone else had), I did not know how to play poker. Despite the fact that the film captured the interest of everyone in the room, and we all ended up tied up on the screen. With Robert Redford and Paul Newman as the main characters, this was no surprise.

The film revolves around Johnny Hooker (RobertRedford) tries to avenge the death of his friend and mentor Luther Coleman (Robert Earl Jones). Coleman was killed by Doyle Lonnegan (Robert Shaw), a notorious gangster and players. In the coming up with a detailed plan for Lonnegan stunt and ultimately destroy it, it takes the help Gordoff Hooker Henry (Paul Newman), who will be the greatest deceiver of all time.

In case there are those who have not seen the film, I'll refrain from spillingMore details and give spoilers (as I unfortunately not with The Cincinnati Kid). However, we simply say that the film believes that there is justice in this world. Is that enough for you?

The trick is in fact one of the best movies you can watch about poker and gambling in general. In fact, thousands and thousands of people will agree with you, as it was one of the most popular films of the early 70s. It boasts of 7 Academy Awards, which include best film, best director,Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Score.

Here you will find more interesting information about the film from the Wikipedia entry about The Sting made:

* There have been plans for a prequel to The Sting. The film was based on the early days of Gondorff Henry (Paul Newman). His mentor was the notorious 19th Century confidence man Soapy Smith, known as the king of the border fraudsters. The plans were scrapped after the failure of the episode, actor Jackie Gleason.

* Harold Gould'sCharacter, "Kid Twist", said that nickname (though obviously not the profession) of at least two different mob killer, Max and Abe Reles Zwerbach.

* At the beginning of the film finds Robert Redford Paul Newman, where he and his wife allegedly operating a carousel in Chicago. As the scene begins, they show the carousel building from a remote location with a shot into the background scenery. The shot is actually the carousel on the Santa Monica Pier in California and the city in theBackground was painted, and about what actually the Pacific Ocean.

* At the beginning of the film, Universal Pictures logo from 1936 (the glass art deco world with the words "A Universal Picture") is used instead of the contemporary version of the film establishing time setting.

The Alternative Music Played by The Cure

The Cure first formed in 1976 and would continue for a few decades behind. Like Fleetwood Mac, The Cure would have seen some changes in their lineup, with only one remaining through the entire life of the band. The member who was with the band from the start, is is Robert Smith, the guitarist and main songwriter of the group. The major music genres that The Cure will focus on the post-punk, alternative rock, gothic rock and new wave. It is a veryVariation, many of them have enjoyed by listening to The Cure, both the past, present, and more than likely the future.

Despite the different genres of music they play, they become one of the most popular alternative rock bands in the world in the 1990s and have sold millions of albums. In fact, done a count in 2004, expects that The Cure has sold around 27 million albums, since it was first established in 1976. During the duration of the band have always quick to sharenumerous albums. A view of the fact that The Cure has released a total of 12 albums and show 30 Singles over the last two years would be just about anyone that they constantly work on their music. Looking at the history of the band, one can see that they have passed through a series of phases where they focus more on one genre than any other, like their Gothic period in the early 1980s and the alternative rock phase, after 1990. However, it seems that according to theirChange alternative rock, they have continued to concentrate more on this particular genre, perhaps because it is the popular genre today. While many still enjoy the other genres, alternative rock is appealing to more of the population than the other genres.

From the time the band had been formed until 2008, The Cure successfully in the release of the 13 studio albums, which continue to sell, although none of all the original band remained, with the exception ofRobert Smith. The others are current members of the band Simon Gallup, with the band since 1979, although a break from the band in the early 1980s, Porl Thompson, with the band since 1976, and Jason Cooper, who is the newest member after the accession in 1995. In addition to the four current members, has seen the Cure eight other members come and go as Lol Tolhurst, Michael Dempsey, Perry Bamonte and Roger O'Donnell, to name a few. EachFind member had his own reasons for leaving the band, as a loss of interest or lack of other interests outside of The Cure. The change of the members do not appear to have slowed the healing much, if at all. Apart from the music that they have set over the decades out of service, they have completed and produced music videos for a few awards. They have been successful in the past thirty years, and they will probably continue to be successful until the time comes when the band. Dissolve

Salmon Fishing - Cure Your Own Eggs

With reports of expected a good return of salmon in the Northwest and in the spring steelhead fishing is picking up is a good time to discuss the treatment a couple of eggs for what will be expected to think of an unusual salmon run.

One of the easiest ways to cure eggs and come out with a good quality, this is a that I use for years. It consists of borax and mixed together in equal parts. I like to use Tender Quick, just because it is a finer grain of salt some of my friendsprefer sea salt is your personal preference. Make sure that they are well mixed together, or your eggs may not work as expected.

The survey will then keep the eggs dry as possible, excess moisture will not give you the appropriate cure and your eggs, milk pretty quickly if you are fishing with them.
If you rinse them to remove some blood make sure you pat it dry with paper towels. Wrap them in paper towels to draw on the nightResidual moisture, it is essential that your eggs will dry as possible. You do not want to freeze their eggs before they heal, since they are not thoroughly consider the borax and the eggs, and only at the outer edges of healing. Eggs keep for about a week, if in a sealed plastic bag and stored in the refrigerator, but the sooner you cure the eggs turn out to more is better.

1. Start by unpacking and transport news paper into strands

2. Use a small containerand filled with borax (I use an empty container casters) pour this mixture to the eggs, taking care to pull next to each suture strand and cover it completely.

3. If you prefer, you can eggs in a small package of sugar free Jell-O mix-or dry food coloring and borax may have desired color to be dyed.

4. It is a good idea to cut your eggs into bait-sized pieces now

5. You need to cover in borax / salt again I might put them in a plastic bag filledcure and then shaken the planet! You can do it how you want to do is make sure the eggs are completely covered with a cure.

6. If your eggs covered with healing spread them on dry paper.

7. Now they want to air dry until a crust has on the open side of this takes about an hour or so published.

8. Once the crust, flip them always appear and allow to stand until they form a crust on the top again.

9. Take the container that you go toto use to store your eggs and cover the floor with spa and then a layer of eggs, cover with healing and repeat this process until you put all your eggs in the container and cover with fresh heal.

10. You can now freeze your eggs, or in the refrigerator where they keep about two months long.

All you have to do now is wait for the salmon in order to move through and you will find some egg quality, they have to throw.

Ryder Cup 2008 European Team Profile

Nick Faldo has finally been named his wildcard picks for this year's European Ryder Cup team, he named two Englishmen Ian Poulter and Paul Casey and gave rise to a direct confrontation. Many thought that Poulter in particular have tried to automatically play in the Johnny Walker Championship at Gleneagles would qualify, but Poulter decided to go to the United States and an event that he had previously committed to play. There has been much speculation suggesting that Faldo hadhe had already awarded the contract, although this was strongly denied by both Faldo and Poulter.

Faldo was unapologetic, saying that he had to make a difficult decision, it was not easy, but he clearly believes that he has the right team for him. He stressed that Poulter was the highest in the world ranking, which had not qualified and that Casey was the best player tee to green, at the moment. His decision to leave Colin Montgomerie and Darren Clarke out of the page seems to have rankledwith the Scots and Northern Irish is the first Ryder Cup team in general, not involved with a Scotsman. Many thought that Clarke, the first pick because of his outstanding Ryder Cup and his record would have been very impressive victory at the KLM Open recently. Clarke had won twice on tour this year, while Poulter Casey has not won anything yet, although Poulter's final runner in the British Open in July.

The wildcard of course, will make the European team still look very young toon paper, but even so, it is an experienced side, with only four "newcomers", Soren Hansen, Justin Rose, Oliver Wilson and Graeme McDowell. Morgan Pressel Cinderellas From John Kennedy Into Tiger Woods

As Yogi Berra said: "It is not over till it's over." At the moment it looks like earthlings are in the process, the dinasours the extinction of the nuclear world war 3 and its aftermath nuclear winter then ultraviolet summer follow. It is not over till it's over. Just ask Morgan Pressel.

18-year-old blonde pixie Morgan Pressel was on the 18th Green yesterday at the first major women's golf tournament of the year, the Kraft Nabisco Dinah Shore at 2 under par in theTime was the Norwegian golfer Suzann Pettersen on 15 Hole to go with a four-shot lead with four holes to Morgan Pressel. It was at that moment that Morgan Pressel late mother, Kathy Krickstein golden fairy dust picked up her bag and sprinkled it all over the Mission Hills Golf Course Rancho Mirage, California.

Morgan Pressel said: "My mother is always with me, and I know that it makes me proud." Lost two years ago, Morgan's 42-year-old mother, her battle with breast cancerand Morgan is from her dad and her pathologist Herb Krickstein bubi Evelyn Krickstein Morgan kept his hand raised, as they solemnly into the lake at 18, after Morgan was held as the youngest champion ever in the Ladies' Golf. Q: How was the jump in the pond? "Said Morgan," wet and cold, but I want to do it again. "

For those who do not believe in curses, go over the Kennedy family and the family of Anna Nicole Smith show. The only wayDannielynn Smith for upwards Caroline Kennedy would now if they are on a piece of gefilte fish at the Seder today evening as the sister of John F. Kennedy throttle.

Two years ago, the 16-year-old Morgan Pressel was standing in the middle of the 18th Fairway at the U.S. Open tied with Birdie Kim for the lead. Birdie was 10 miles out of the hole in the right green side bunker, where Birdie Morgan Pressel blew the brains out with a magical ball bunker shot into the bottom of the cupsnatched victory away from Morgan, as she had in his pocket, looked up. The strange thing is how often this happens in the Gulf. Greg Norman shot in the head in the Masters playoff when Larry Mize shot an impossible pitch hole in the PGA, when Paul Azinger an impossible bunker shot on 18 and holed out in Hawaii, when Robert Gamez rubbed salt into the holes in Greg's bullet ridden head holing from 175 yards to 18.

Equally remarkable is the Gulf, how many times players fall down comingthe track. This coming Sunday 8th April 2007 is Easter Sunday Masters. They say that the master back to start the nine on Sunday. The Golf Tiger Woods Messiah says that his Buddhist faith helped him to forget himself, the track and Zen in the zone. Tiger Woods is for holding his composure, while around him crack under the pressure of indescribable known. Johnny Miller's would always talk about coming into his time as Arnold Palmer or Lee Trevino or Tom WatsonCharges as the secretariat on Sunday with a 64 and, as now, the average score of the game partner of Tiger Woods in the final group is 79 Tiger Woods has sold his soul to Satan? If Budddhism recognize Satan? If not, that he, the guy behind the red ropes with the horns and pointed tail who smells like sulfur.

The Jewish name for demons is the "dybbuk". Morgan Pressel said that her Jewish faith is very important to them. Jewish people wear red Bendel, red ribbons to ward off evil spirits.Morgan Pressel is the first Jewish Major champion when Cory Pavin, are born a born-again Christian. This week Pope Benedict XVI, said that there are hell and demons. The Pope will be silent with holy water and smoke and more than 217 other rituals this week to the Vatican by evil spirits, not to mention his Callaway golf hat clean. The most blatant showing off about supernatural beings came at Winged Foot on 18, when the late Davis Love Jr., the 18th Green is celebrating his son's first major indoorPGA title with a magical rainbow.

The Zapruder film shows Satan himself shooting the magic bullet that from the green hills in the head of John F. Kennedy. The question is: "Join legendary occur together because the winner sells his soul to Satan, or because the winner was blessed by God and the archangels Michael, Gabriel, Uriel and Raphael, or because an evil man cursed the leader or suffered because of the leaders either shattering nerves or mental defect? "Yesterday in the Dinah ShoreSuzann Pettersen closed bogey, double bogey, bogey and then parred the par 5, the 18th Morgan Pressel birdies. Suzann Pettersen was the first golfer from Oslo Norway, is in the south of Norway to hell. Hell Norway is located east of Greenland, which melted during the Dinah Shore.

Tiger Woods won the British Open and PGA and the latest is this week for his third consecutive major championship and his second Tiger Slam. Tiger Woods won 3 straight U.S. Amateurs. At 16, Morgan Pressel wonThe U.S. women's amateur. In the age of 12, Morgan Pressel became the youngest person ever to qualify for the U.S. Woman's Open. They did not come from nowhere. It's just that everyone was focused on Michelle Wie for her wonderful length off the tee. Unfortunately, Michelle can not chip or putt, and they lost Dave Pelz telephone number.

Carnoustie Scotland is located west of Oslo, Norway. In 1999 came at the British Open in Carnoustie Scotland Jean Van de Velde to 18 Holerequire only a double bogey to win the Claret Jug and immortality. Curtis Strange was announced in the cabin of his hair to make decisions ribs Jean Van de Velde. Jean Van de Velde could have won the British Open play 18 with his 7 iron. On 18 Jean Van de Velde hit an OK drive into the rough and play smart, was to use a wege in order to lay before the Barry Burn, the pond guarding the 18th From there he could have chipped in and even three-putted for 6 and victory. Instead, Jean Van de Veldetook 2 iron from the bag. If Tiger Woods had done that their Kiwi caddy Stevie Williams had rugby tackled Tiger Woods into the dirt around him down, gave him the wedge and judge him on the left. God helps those who help themselves. They give no babies in the womb methadone. He leads them to bad choices later in life, no matter how much money they have.

Jean Van de Velde prefers to wear his 2-iron to 18, the water from the rough. His fly ball to right,Hits the stands, jumped happily from the rocks in the river Barry Burn and landed in the rough behind the burn. He'd only pitch from the tall grass on the green, three putt and walk with the trophy. Van de Velde then go play his pitch shot to the river in front of the green. He is now rolls up his pants into shorts, takes off his shoes and socks and wading into the burn goes. He eventually decides to take a drop and 4 can still be up and down for the victory. SomehowHe loosened his chip shot into the trap. How to get a miracle, Van de Velde blew within 6 feet and blow holes in the triple-bogey at the British Open playoff.

The Scottish fans were excited because the recipients of the Gulf embolism were American Justin Leonard and Scotsman Paul Lawrie. Paul Lawrie went to the 3-man playoff for the British Open win, relying on the luck of the Irish and the four clover in his pocket. Yesterday, the recipient of Suzann hasPettersen last 4-hole collapse, and advance into the right trees was Morgan Pressel, the little lady who had her brains blown out by Birdie Kim two years ago at the U.S. Open. You say that like in the Gulf luck but if that were true, then Greg Norman would at least have won a green jacket. Greg Norman also threw a 6 shot Sunday Masters to Nick Faldo. As Yogi Berra said: "It is not over till it's over" and "If the world was not perfect, itwill. "

Pornography - By The Cure - Album Review

Apply in the wonderful world of the alternative scene a few albums as legendary. Their fame has spread from the mouth to mouth and from generation to generation and their value is indisputable is insensitive to criticism by dogmatic and almost perfect hedonically influential. Unfortunately, these albums are not nearly as many and as time passes, with the rapid transmission of music over the Internet and the commercialization of music from record companies, lost magic. Onthe other side, luckily enough, the inner necessity, with the idols, and to identify in a form of art that honored to integrate the mystical adoration of the darkness and the sad, the apotheosis of solitude and the flirtation with death in a fascinatingly produced magical world, "pornography", the fourth album by The Cure, which is regarded by the fans of the group as their absolute masterpiece.

It is no secret that the conditions under which "pornography" was recordedwere extremely poor so much for the fragile unity of the group, but also for the psyche of Robert Smith. arguments and conflicts between members of the group, dramatic concert with Smith withdrawing from the stage with absolutely wines with the character he embodies the rivers of alcohol and drugs was to identify the setting that was firmly guided by three albums up to that date. First, "Three Imaginary Boys", a fairly immature efforts of post-punkEase, as Smith also had to "Seventeen Seconds" and "Faith", that were in the dark albums, had shown the British scene. At the time of "pornography," The Cure have been balancing on a rope, which deify or it would destroy. Robert Smith had already begun, the new martyrs of the British rock and the burden on the shoulders of a young man from Crawley, Sussex eligible considered to be extremely difficult.

The group entered the RAK Studio OneLondon in January 1982 with a pessimistic available. Simon Gallup, bassist of The Cure, had said, characteristically, that had conquered all nihilism. This follows from the first stanza in terrible "100 years of hand". The frozen despair Robert Smith sings "It does not matter if we all die", of screaming guitars and hard bass, directly Hitchcock setting anchored. Distant sounds, which gradually revive bribe then again hide the atmosphere asas ghosts in a haunted house in the classic gothic rhythms of "A Short Term Effect". "Siamese twins" could be a very nice piece, but it is purposely bare essentially driven guitar riff, the voice of catatonic Smith and the monotonous drum tempo, turning it into a grim manifesto "Sing out loud that we all laughed into the fire, it is always so.

"Hanging Gardenf" is one of the bravest Singles by The Cure. Your record company, withdespair with the non-commercial material of the plate, decided to promote "Hanging Garden" to improve the promotion of "pornography", considering that he single as "negotiable" part of the plate. "Hanging Garden" is a minimalist, untamed subject of virtue, the top 40 entered the UK charts. "Advertisement" ghost house is an invitation to a party in the dark world of Robert Smith. "Sharp and open leave me alone and sleeping less every night, when the days are getting harderand weighted to wait in the cold light "he sings with real pain, as he admits in a rare moment of worldliness" I could lose in Chinese art and American girls. Album Review - Disintegration by the Cure

The Cure have a unique kind of brilliance. There is no other band in the history of music has managed to bridge the gap between punk and pop to the bridge with such sentimentality and sadness resulting in a global chain reaction of melancholy, sadness and euphoria in action, millions of fans. With their dominant, melodic bass lines and the shrill voice of Robert Smith, that echo a lyrical obsession with fictitious dark mix to The Cure The Psychedelic, Punk darkGothic and pop sounds into a amagalm of what her sound manner.

There is no other album in the history of music as a breaking point, was a band with the peak of their popularity with tingling, burning, seductive sounds, hypnotic, intriguing vocals and simple lyrics. Despite concerns raised by the record company that the album would be a "Commercial Suicide", "Disintegration", published in 1989, is The Cure's return to the familiar pathsintrospective gloom, and their absolute masterpiece.

Achieved with a state of maturity has, in her eighth album, The Cure experiment with a dark, yet seductive atmosphere, the villagers thread around lust, unrequited romance, resolutions, and Tainted Love wraps. Darker than The Cure 'pop version' s Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me "from 1987, still more pop than The Cure's early eighties published" Faith "and pornography," "Disintegration" is somewhere inthe middle. Full of teenage romance, melancholy, anxiety and creative darkness, "Disintegration" is a pop album, which dealt with torture as the best art.

Characterized by a catastrophic use of synthesizers and keyboards, repetitive guitar riffs and Smith's meditative song opens the album with "Plainsong," a slow orchestral shower of synths and guitars. Then, "Pictures of You" with its ethereal guitar melodies and well structured synth echoes Smith's complaint about a bittersweetTaste of the relationship, which ended abruptly. Although optimistic, "Pictures of You 'is emotional, passionate and romantic texts interweave that with synth bass lines and plates.

"Anchored close 'and' prayer for rain," the direction of the layers of keyboards from gloomy guitar progressions. 'Closure' is a soaring track that Smith's physical and artistic shortcomings, whereas "Prayers for Rain" is a track that ultimately sounds depressing, the definition of a rainy dayMelancholia.

"Love Song" is the top-ten hit of the album and perhaps all the more complex tracks. Although it is an upbeat groove, dancing guitar riffs and rhythm section, "Love Song" is, in fact, dark and restrained, an open show of emotion. It is a simple love song that manages, in contrast to Smith's ability to show affection s, shake it to the public. Be written as a wedding gift for his wife, "Love Song" simply proves that emotions can be simpleaccomplish much more than vague and ambiguous language.

"Lullaby" is an atmospheric song with rhythmic guitar chords that anchor Smith 's whisper lyrics. Practically a terrifying fear that describes a picture should be, eaten alive by a spider man, "Lullaby" portrays Smith's nightmares from his childhood when his father took him to sing lullabies sung with a devastating end.

"Fascination Street" comes as a happier, brighter, more bass-deposits, meowed length anchoredwith Smith's voice sings typical Alley Cat by corrupt Bourbon Street in New Orleans. After 1.5 minutes instrumental intro, the track at a rapid pace, with simple, repetitive text and Smith's voice, building in intensity as the track stages the big finale, giving one last write before a fall sleepy roan.

The title song is "disintegration," a hymn to love and to tell a typical example of the musical style of the album, the drifting, ever-presentKeyboards, guitar repetitive progressions and complex drum patterns and depressing lyrics that are so complicated and yet so simple. If it is not a heart other than Robert Smith to be touched, has sang "I leave you with photos of fraud, stains on the carpet and stains on the memory Songs about happiness in a dream, when we both of us knew muttered, as the aim is always ... "

The title that the album is finished, "Last Dance", "The Same Deep Water As You ',"Nostalgia" and "Untitled". Staying tuned to the original style of the album, with the exception of "Untitled" it is quite optimistic, atmospheric, almost gothic ballads, keyboard, disks with multipart guitar lines and drum patterns, with the introspective lyrics of Robert Smith interwoven mix.

Having more than three million copies sold worldwide, 'disintegration' is still the highest selling album by The Cure. In addition to the album was ranked # 3 in the British albums chart and # 12in the U.S. Billboard 200th The album also produced hit singles with "Love Song" and reached # 2 on the Billboard Hot 100, "Lullaby" peaked at # 5 in the UK charts, "Fascination Street" reached # 1 on the U.S. Modern Rock charts and "Pictures of You" reached number 24 of the UK charts. In addition, "disintegration" voted as one of the "500 Greatest Albums of All Time 'on Rolling Stone Magazine at # 326th

Adult ADHD

"Robert, stop it!"

These words came to me almost my whole life, when people were overwhelmed by my behavior. I do not understand what was their problem. Neither has one of the voices in my head.

The voices were constant and all of me, not God or spirits, and they did not tell me to do something about anti-social. Rather, each (I counted eight) was a regular stream of thoughts that are running simultaneously, as an eight-track tape plays all tracks simultaneously. I have oftenwandered into a conversation mode by friends as "Robin Williams monologue describes making the telling of jokes, puns, jumping from topic to topic, and even changing voices and character.

But my head has always been so. For me, pulled all the others, thinking slow, took forever to get to the point. I drove my friends, colleagues and family nuts, and I could not help it. I was also a bag of empty, hurt my health. Even my decades of meditationPractice could not control the internal unrest.

Then a strange combination of events led to help. My sister-in-law, Tina, an army doctor who has suffered an injury and needed help drive home from Illinois to New York. I was available, so I spent three weeks with the family, during which time Tina told me observe at close hand. Soon, told me bluntly, "I'm really, really, really think you have ADHD." When Tina, a lieutenant colonel and powerful diagnostician, using three"Reallys" in one sentence, you'd better seriously.

But ADHD? Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder? Me? I had thought, ADHD, ADD, and all the other new acronyms have been teething problems. I would not have ADHD, I was of the generation that found super fast flashing of the movie trailers and TV shows with handheld camera work hard to see, even painful, too. My attention span could be measured in minutes and hours, not milliseconds, and audio files. I was a trainedsystematic zoologist, a professional organization dedicated to compulsive to huge amounts of data. No, I could not ADHD.

But when we discussed my symptoms, it became clear that children have no monopoly on the brain chemical imbalances. I have tried all the usual suspects symptomatic. Despite earning my two masters and a doctorate in school was always unbearably painful for me off, always remain in my place too slowly with difficulty following lectures. I tested badly, because I read eithermuch into a question, or knew of the rare exceptions. In conversations I've often finished sentences of other people.

Getting to sleep was always an ordeal, because my thoughts would not turn off. Although I am very goal oriented, I found it difficult to do some tasks because I had so many projects happening simultaneously. For example, I had a year to burn a CD-ROM key to the sharks and rays had the world, but always pushed it a commercial release. For some tasks Ifocused like a laser, while others that I was as dark as a candle. I saw my own doctor and a neuropsychologist and safe enough, got the diagnosis of ADHD.

ADHD was first described as "lack of moral control" by a British physician in 1902, is a simple failure of the brain at a level of equilibrium called neurotransmitters dopamine and norepinephrine, which regulate the mood. My diagnosis and subsequent treatment with Adderall radically and quickly changed my life for the better. ThisAmphetamine an "upper" actually relieves ADHD personality. My hunger cravings are gone, I sleep well, do more things, do it better and not been on the nerves of people lately, especially my long-suffering wife of thirty years ago! Overall, I have found in mussels and happy, not upset or ecstatic every day since the start of treatment. Best and strangest of all, I now have only one thought in my head at any time. It is the psychological equivalent, I believe, who sent with all theChildren to college, and I get the house for me.

It has always associated stigma of mental illness, it is "all in our heads." Psychological problems are still other times when the physical or physiological, and Congress refuses to mental illness, what it can be seen. This stigma is devastating. As a zoologist, I understand how my inner work is so, it will be treated no influence on my decision, but for most people are "mentally ill" is one of the bad news categorywith heart problems or cancer, or worse! People who could benefit denied to help themselves, which could significantly improve the quality of their lives. We do not know a person laugh with a bad heart for taking nitroglycerine, a person with a defective pancreas that produce insulin, or any of us cope with an impairment of the immune system or for the use of antibiotics.

Even Viagra jokes are rare in those days. Why do we see such intolerance, when another organ, the brain is sick? Many influentialPeople had ADHD, including Dustin Hoffman, Will Smith, James Stewart, Vincent Van Gogh, Leonardo da Vinci, Benjamin Franklin, Albert Einstein, Winston Churchill, and of course, Robin Williams. Disorders of the brain are real physical phenomena that are often treated easily. Unless, of course, our brains get moved to another site, will always mental illnesses "are in our heads." Those of us who can are drugs, they should take, and the rest of us should be our loved ones who need support. It makes things so much happier in our hearts and in our minds.

The Cure - Concert in Rome - February 2008

I still remember the amazing close to two hours of The Cure in Rome on Piazza San Giovanni set at October 11th, 2008 with the same nostalgia and sentimentality, as I heard them live for the first time two weeks before their new album on a live broadcast on MTV, expected the cure nearly 75,000 people and has played more than 200 million TV viewers around the globe with all the tension, "4:13 Dream", followed with an encore of their smash hits in absoluteSuccess.

With astonishing freshness and vitality "4:13 Dream" Performed reflects the return of Porl Thompson on guitar after 14 years, who has revived the band's sound infusion, a sense of urgency, its drawbacks. As expected, the new material went in front of the historic train of the treatment by a swelling, spacious, classic-sounding, but at the same time, drastically altered design which makes perfect sense even after thirteen albums.

The Cure came on stageat around 11pm and opened their set list with the epic song "Underneath the Stars", perhaps the best song by Robert Smith for "disintegration" written. Thompson is remarkable guitar riff came into sending shivers down the spines, while production drops of glockenspiel and bass and drum sounds echo a wonderful song.

In an abrupt change of atmosphere, the band "The Only One" played, the first single from the album, a moderately dosed pop song with a melodic structure and the basicElements to illuminate the radio vibes.

"Freakshow" and "Switch" reflects the scratchy post-punk guitar riffs from Thompson, while "The Real Snow White" and "This. Here and now. With You" reminded me of the classic sound of The Cure with the reverse Guitar minors and almost crying voice of Robert Smith.

"The Perfect Boy," a pretty guitar-driven song with the signing of the downbeat Cure balanced the pop mastery of Robert Smith withthe group Goth lament, while "Sirensong Echo era Cure.

With the exception of "The Scream" and "It's Over" which was a fantastic mix of claustrophobia and was the largest part of the concert celebrating the opening of the mental health and bounding with energy. The rehabilitated happiness of life was perfectly expressed in "Sleep When I'm Dead", a song which goes back to the "Head On The Door"-term, while "The Reasons Why" and "The Hungry Ghost had" the melancholic beauty is a "Catch".

Theencore was very pop, including all time classic songs of the band as "Lullaby," "Fascination Street," "The Walk", "Love Song," "Friday I'm In Love," "In Between Days", "Just Like Heaven "and" Boys Do not Cry ". The majority of the crowd seemed a rather superficial knowledge of the Cure and have really enjoyed that part of the crowd to create a big party atmosphere.

Overall, the response to the event was overwhelmingly praised, many fans have, "4:13 Dream" as a permittedCure-fide classic. My impression is that the cure remain a multi-dimensional Goth-punk group is able, hard-rock melodies of pop-rooted elements to produce. Rome concert was mixed by echoes of the past with full guitar-centric sound of the post-Millennium Cure.
